A family company, one contractor, and nine years of Omaha homes

Dad Construction is exactly what it sounds like. Dave has been building and remodeling for decades and started this company in 2017 to do it the way he thought it should be done — one project at a time, with his own hands on the work.

Before that, he spent years watching remodels go sideways for reasons that had nothing to do with skill. A crew that disappeared for two weeks. An estimate that turned out to be a starting point. Finish work rushed at the end because the budget ran out on the parts nobody planned for.

So we built the company around fixing those specific problems. One point of contact. Written estimates, in plain English. Our own crew doing the work instead of a rotating cast of subs. And enough time built into every schedule that the last ten percent never gets rushed.

Remodeling is our bread and butter, but it is not the boundary. Over nine years we have taken on just about everything a house needs — interior and exterior, a basement remodel one week and a roof replacement the next. It means our customers are not managing four different contractors to get one house sorted out.

Nine years later, most of our work comes from people who saw what we did at a neighbor's house. That is the only kind of marketing that has ever really worked for us.
